Gossensass am Brenner / Colle Isarco

Colle Isarco/Gossensass in the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal is the main town of the community of Brennero/Brenner. Here - on the southern side of the Alps - two cultures meet and fuse: the Mediterranean and the Alpine culture. In the 19th century, Colle Isarco/Gossensass was a renowned tourist destination and, like Merano, a climatic SPA. Strolling through Colle Isarco/Gossensass, today you can discover many traces from this period.

In winter, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy themselves on the ski slopes of the ski resort Ladurns. Fleres/Pflersch is the ideal destination for particularly charming winter hikes.
