Collepietra/Steinegg lies in the heart of the Dolomites and belongs to the municipality of Cornedo all'Isarco/Karneid. Only 15 km separate the sun-drenched mountain village from the provincial capital city of Bolzano/Bozen, where you will find many interesting sights. A tour to the Earth Pyramids is a particularly beautiful experience. This tour lasts about 3 hours and is ideal for a family excursion.

When the days are getting shorter and the high peaks cover themselves in a white winter dress, there is a lot to experience in Collepietra/Steinegg.

There are 4 ski resorts to choose from for skiing and snowboarding:

•  in just 15 minutes you can reach Nova Levante/Welschnofen, where a cable car takes you directly to the Passo di Costalunga/Karer Pass.
•  in 30 minutes you can reach the lift in Siusi/Seis, which takes you to the large skiing resort of Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm
•  in 40 minutes you can reach the slopes of the family-friendly Obereggen ski resort

Of course there are also possibilities for tobogganing, cross-country skiing and taking part in a guided snowshoe hike.
