Karneid / Cornedo all’Isarco

The municipality of Cornedo all'Isarco/Karneid takes the homonymous castle, which is situated on a steep rocky slope above the valley and dates back to the 13th century. The area is bordered by three watercourses: the Isarco/Eisack, the Ega/Eggentaler Bach and the Rio Bria/Braienbach from the Val di Tires/Tierser Tal. The fantastic landscape with its Mediterranean climate invites you to hike and cycle in this area.
