Corvara

Corvara lies in a sunny basin-shaped valley at the foot of the Sasslongher Mountain, in the middle of the Dolomites. The mountain village at 1,568 m above sea level is regarded as THE tourist centre in Alta Badia and attracts a broad and international public every year. Nevertheless, it is still a rural, genuine and peaceful village.

Hiking and skiing in Corvara

Corvara lies directly near to the slopes of the Dolomiti Superski carousel. Here there are slopes for beginners and professionals. Corvara is also the starting point for the two most beautiful ski tours in the Alps: the Sella Ronda ski tour and the First World War ski tour.

In summer the picturesque and beautiful mountain world of the Dolomites invites you to go hiking. Two modern lifts take you to an altitude of 2,000 metres in just a few minutes. And at the top you will be rewarded with a fabulous view that reaches as far as the Marmolada Glacier.

Numerous leisure activities

After an unforgettable day in the mountains, you can relax in a wellness centre or do some shopping. Corvara also has a golf course, a tennis hall and a roofed ice stadium.
