Kardaun / Cardano

Kardaun/Cardano makes part of the municipality of Karneid/Cornedo and is located only a few kilometers from the provincial capital of Bozen/Bolzano. The town is situated between the Eisacktal and the Eggental george and is surrounded by vineyards. Near the town, there is the Valle Isarco cycling track, which goes from Brennero/Brenner to Bozen/Bolzano. The cycling path is 96 kilometers long and accessible almost all year round.

Ideal starting point

Hiking, skiing, or relaxing? Kardaun/Cardano is the ideal starting point for many activities: During winter, in only 20 minutes by car, you can reach the slopes of the popular skiing area Obereggen. During summer, the hiking paradise Catinaccio and Latemar in the middle of the UNESCO world heritage can be reached in 20 minutes. Who prefers an afternoon full of shopping, can reach the provincial capital of Bozen/Bolzano in only 5 minutes by public transport.

Another popular destination is the Castle Karneid and the observatory and planetarium in Gummer/San Valentino in Campo. You can plan every day individually and according to your preferences.
