Visit Ritten/Renon

The most popular hiking and walking destination of Ritten is the Corno del Renon/Rittner Horn. In fact, it is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in South Tyrol. The view of the Dolomites, Schlern/Sciliar, Rosengarten/Catinaccio, Schwarzhorn/Corno Nero and Weißhorn/Corno Bianco will be unforgettable. Another famous destination are the earth pyramids of Renon, the Beekeeping Museum, and the historic narrow-gauge railway.

If you don’t want to move by car, we have the perfect solution for you: the cable car connects the city of Bolzano with Soprabolzano in 12 minutes. From Soprabolzano you can take the historic narrow-gauge railway to Collalbo via Maria Assunta.

During winter you can ski or snowboard in the skiing area of Rittner Horn. The skiing area is perfect for families, and it includes 15km of ski runs and cross-country ski runs, 30 km of hiking trails and a toboggan run which is 2.5 km long.

Our special tip: If you go there during the pre-Christmas period, you absolutely have to go to the beautiful Christmas market. A magical Christmas in the mountains awaits you, as the Christmas market in Klobenstein is one of the most beautiful in the entire Alpine region.
