In the heart of Alta Badia lies the small mountain village of La Villa. This is a very special place: it lies between the world-famous Gran Risa slope and the UNESCO nature parks Puez-Odle/Puez-Geisler and Fanes-Sennes-Braies. La Villa is surrounded by the impressive Dolomites, including the Kreuzkofel, the Sassongher and the Sella group.

Every year in December the best skiers meet in La Villa. The ski races on the challenging Gran Risa slope are of worldwide interest.
In summer LaVilla is the starting point for the famous "Maratona dles Dolomites", a famous cycle marathon that covers 138 kilometres and an altitude difference of 4,190 metres.

For all those who like to do sports on their own, La Villa has a lot to offer: there are numerous hiking and cycling paths for every taste and ability. Many lifts are also active in summer, so that you can reach over 2,000 metres in just a few minutes.
The ski area of La Villa is known for its wide, varied and perfectly groomed slopes. From here you can also start the Sellaronda ski route directly. Moreover, many mountain huts offer you delicious regional specialities.
