Moos / San Giuseppe
At the gateway to the beautiful Fiscalina Valley, in the Val Pusteria/Pustertal it is located the village of San Giuseppe/Moos, in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009. The village is part of the municipality of Sesto/Sexten and from here you can reach the famous Three Peaks in the Sesto Dolomites.
So close to the Three Peaks
Overwhelmed by the beauty of nature, with the untouched mountain meadows and the beautiful Dolomites mountains, from here you can start numerous hikes. A classic excursion is the hike around the Three Peaks, but the way around Sesto is also very popular for families. Also for climbers and mountain bikers there are plenty of possibilities.
In winter, however, the Alta Pusteria - Sesto Dolomites ski carousel offers many kilometres of slopes. In the Monte Elmo and Croda Rossa ski mountains, winter sports enthusiasts will find everything they could wish for: snowshoe tours, hikes in the middle of the snow-covered Dolomite landscape and ski mountaineering will not miss out.
Visit San Giuseppe/Moss in Val Pusteria/Pustertal and the beautiful Fiscalina Valley. Not for nothing, the famous mountaineer Luis Trenker described the Fiscalina Valley as "the most beautiful valley in the world".
