Raas / Rasa

Raas is a small idyllic village in the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal and belongs to the municipality of Naz-Sciaves/Natz-Schabs. The village is situated on a high plateau at 842 metres above sea level and is surrounded by orchards.

Varied natural landscape

Kissed by the sun, Rasa/Raas is a true natural paradise for many. In the midst of blooming apple trees, green meadows and deep forests, you can undertake numerous activities. In the south of Raas, there are some vineyards with grapes destinated to the production of famous South Tyrolean wines such as Sylvaner and Müller Thurgau.

The biotope Raiermoos, a protected nature reserve with rare flora and fauna, is always worth a visit. For all nature lovers, a nature trail has also been established in this area.

From Rasa/Raas you can also easily reach the city of Bressanone/Brixen - which is only a few kilometres away.

The surroundings of Rasa/Raas can be easily explored on hikes. For example, you can take a walk to the Neustift Monastery along the "Wine and Water" theme trail. You can also go on countless tours by bike and mountain bike.

The skiing resorts Gitschberg and Jochtal as well as the Plose ski area are very close to Rasa/Raas and can be easily reached by car.
