Radein / Redagno

The Bletterbach gorge separates the small town of Radein/Redagno from the main locality of Aldein/Aldino. Radein is surrounded by beautiful alpine meadows, traditional mountain huts, and green fields. From the idyllic mountain village, you can enjoy a great view of mount Weißhorn. This is the perfect holiday destination for those who are looking for calmness and relaxation, but also those who want to spend an active holiday will enjoy their time in Radein.

Radein and surroundings

During the warm summer months, in Radein there are many possibilities for hikes. Hikes up to the summits of mount Trudner Horn or Schwarzhorn are worth the effort, and you definitely should not miss a trip to the Bletterbach gorge in Aldein. The South Tyrolean “Grand Canyon” is a special adventure for people of every age.

It is perfectly possible to explore Aldein and its surroundings by mountain bike and the whole family will have fun at the near 18-hole golf course in Petersberg.

When winter arrives, it’s a good idea to pay a visit to the near skiing area Jochgrimm. It is a rather small skiing area and therefore perfect for families and beginners.

The skiing area Obereggen, where many kilometres of slopes are waiting for you, is not far away either: you can get there in 40 minutes by car. A very special adventure are the skiing nights there: three times a week, you can go skiing in the evening on illuminated slopes.
