Situated at the entrance of the Val Pusteria/Pustertal, near Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach there are numerous hiking and trekking opportunities. Comfortable hikes lead you to the Alpe di Fana, the Valle di Vals/Valser Tal is characterized by many old farms and if you want to go a little higher, then we recommend you to take the cable car to Maranza/Meransen.

Between the beautiful mountain landscape, the green meadows and fields, there are also many routes for mountain bikers.

In winter, the Gitschberg-Jochtal skiing resort offers 50 kilometres of varied slopes. On the Alpe di Fana you can also toboggan and enjoy cross-country skiing. 

The village has also a mini-golf course and a swimming pool.
