Seiser Alm (Fraktion) / Alpe di Siusi (frazione)

The Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm is the largest high-altitude pasture in Europe and is located over the villages of Fiè/Völs, Siusi/Seis and Castelrotto/Kastelruth. The entire area belongs to the Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park and is completely car-free! You can reach the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm quickly and comfortably by a cable car from Siusi/Seis as well as a cable car from Ortisei/St. Ulrich in Val Gardena/Gröden.

The sunny high plateau is a real hiking paradise in summer and comprises popular mountain destinations such as the Sciliar/Schlern, the Sassopiatto/Plattkofel or the Sassolungo/Langkofel. On the Alpe di Siusi you can also enjoy exciting bike tours, spectacular vie ferrate and fascinating paragliding flights. The traditional mountain huts of the area invite you to relax and restore yourself with delicious local dishes. In summer, you can't miss the Oswald von Wolkenstein Ride, a traditional event that takes place every year in June on the Alpe di Siusi and during which brave knights compete in four tournaments dedicated to skill and endurance.

Snowboarders can let off steam in the King Laurin Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm Snowpark, one of the 5 most beautiful snowparks in Europe.
