Mühlwald / Selva dei Molini

Selva dei Molini/Mühlwald lies in the Valli di Tures e Aurina/Tauferer Ahrntal and is an idyllic village amidst dense conifers, green fields and rustic mountain farms.  Water is an important element in the valley. Just before reaching the village, ou can see the Lago di Neves/Lappacher Stausee, a particularly popular reservoir where you can do a circular hike about the theme of water. But Selva dei Molini/Mühlwald is also characterized by many little creeks, mills and watercourses that give you a sensation of peace and relaxation.

In summer there are numerous hiking routes for active holidaymakers. Also climbers will get their money's worth here in the valley.

If you come to Selva dei Molini/Mühlwald during the winter months, you have the possibility to experience an unforgettable day with the whole family in the Tamarix Family Park: The snow playground consists of a 5-hectare slope especially created for tobogganing, snow bobs etc. A "magic carpet" then brings you back to the top in just one minute.

For skiing and snowboarding lovers you can go to the Skiworld Ahrntal, which comprises Speikboden, Klausberg, Rio Bianco/Weißenbach and Riva di Tures/Rein in Taufers. Here 21 cablecars and 73 km of snowy slopes are waiting for you. If that's not enough for you, you can really let off steam in the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski area, South Tyrol's ski resort no. 1.
