Teis / Tiso
The sunny mountain village of Tiso/Teis lies over the entrance to the Val di Funes/Villnösstal, at an altitude of 850 metres. From here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal, the Zillertal Alps and the Geisler/Odle peaks. This place is especially famous for the so-called "Teiser Balls" - small violet minerals that can be admired in the Tiso Mineal Museum. If you like, you can join the museum founder in his search for the Teiser Balls!
