Olang / Valdaora

Located in the heart of Val Pusteria/Pustertal, the small village of Valdaora/Olang is located at the foot of the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz, in the heart of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. Not far from Valdaora/Olang, there is the beautiful city of Brunico/Bruneck and nevertheless Valdaora/Olang looks very idyllic and rural and is a special spot for all nature lovers.

So close to the mountains

The Rieserferner Group and the Sesto Dolomites can be easily reached from Valdaora/Olang, which is the ideal starting point for many hiking, cycling and mountain bike tours in the surrounding area. While mountain bikers mainly explore the surrounding Dolomites on their two bikes, there is a leisurely cycle path in the valley leading to San Candido/Innichen or Brunico/Bruneck. There is also a Nordic Walking park, a golf course, riding centres and tennis courts.

The highlight for all families is certainly the Kids World in Valdaora/Olang: here, on several hundred meters, you can find an extensive natural playground at the edge of the forest, a water world and a climbing area.

Skiing pleasure in Val Pusteria/Pustertal

With the nearby Plan de Corones/Kronplatz ski resort, the winter sports paradise par excellence in South Tyrol, winter sports enthusiasts will find everything they could wish for: 119 kilometres of slopes guarantee lots of fun on the snow! By the way: There is a ski bus between Valdaora/Olang and the Plan de Corones/Kronplatz which leaves every 20 minutes and takes you directly to the ski lifts.

For all tobogganists in Valdaora/Olang there is the Panorama toboggan run, where you can toboggan down the slope until late in the evening.
