Worth a visit at any time of the year

Apple trees and vines, embedded in a beautiful mountain scenery. In the background you can see the glaciated mountains of the Zillertal and Stubai Main Chain. The Eisaktal/Valle Isarco has a lot to offer in terms of landscape and is therefore so beloved by many guests.

With the wonfderful blossoms that enchant the valley every spring, here the sun can be enjoyed and invites you to the first hikes, while in the mountains you can still find the last ski lovers.

Lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures allow you to hike into the mountains of the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco in summer, passing numerous mountain meadows and rustic alpine huts. From Chiusa/Klausen, at the entrance to Val Gardena/Grödental, Villandro/Villanders with the famous Villanderer Alm to Velturno/Feldthurns you will find fantastic hiking areas with a fantastic view on the Dolomites.

In autumn, when the Törggelen season begins, the valley really comes alive. In many taverns and traditional inns you can enjoy rustic specialities, not to mention the sweet wine, the so called "Sußer", and the roasted chestnuts.

Whether skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, tobogganing or snowshoeing. There is something for every winter sports enthusiast. There are several ski areas in the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco: Plose above Bressanone/Brixen, Monte Cavallo/Rosskopf, Gitschberg Jochtal/Rio Pusteria and Racines-Giovo/Ratschings-Jaufen.

During the Advent season, for example, it is always worthwhile to visit the Christmas Markets of Brixen or Chiusa/Klausen.
