Verdings / Verdignes

Verdignes/Verdings - a small village in the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal, which belongs to the municipality of Chiusa/Klausen. From Verdignes/Verdings you have a perfect view on the Dolomites and the Säben Abbey, which makes the village one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal.

With its 450 inhabitants, Verdignes/Verdings is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. Idyllically situated, with a fantastic view, you can relax and enjoy with all your senses.

You can take a pleasant walk to the small and romantic little church of Verdignes/Verdings. Among vineyards and large trees you can reach the chapel from the eleventh century.

Only a few kilometres away there is the city of Chiusa/Klausen, where you can stroll comfortably through the beautiful alleys.

In the area around Verdignes/Verdings you can do wonderful walks and hikes. The Alpe di Villandro Pasture is certainly worth a visit.

When you go to visit the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal you also have to see impressive Sabiona/Säben Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in Tyrol.
